Forehead Lift
Deep furrows on the forehead, frown lines between the eyes, drooping eyebrows and hood-like skin over the eyes are all conditions that can make you look older than you are or feel.
Whether age or heredity causes these conditions, a forehead lift (or brow lift) can give you a more youthful, animated and alert appearance.
Dr. Saadat utilizes a special technique (endoscopic procedure) that allows him to make a much smaller incision just above the hairline. Dr. Saadat also performs forehead lifts under local anesthesia supplemented by a mild sedative to keep you relaxed, yet awake. Recovery time is reduced with minimal scarring hidden in your hair. Forehead and brow lifts may be performed alone, or along with other procedures such as a facelift or eyelid surgery.
Most patients are on their feet in a couple of days, and back to work within two weeks. Strenuous exertion, which increases your blood pressure, should be avoided for about a month, along with prolonged exposure to heat or the sun.
